Aminka is the Founder & CEO of Wofemtech Solutions Inc. a virtual collective empowering women to build, create and connect with the connectivity of technology and learning. The Woem virtual collective provides online professional and personal training for the modern woman. Allowing women to create and share their own masterclass courses and webinars.
Aminka Belvitt is an international speaker advocating for the empowerment of women, women & girls in STEM, the future of work, equality & inclusion, political advocacy and digital marketing & trends. She has spoken at One Young World, UN Women, SAP Next Gen, Canadian Embassy in Jordan, Equal Voice and WEDay. She frequently speaks at local & international high schools.
Aminka Belvitt is the founder and director of the ForUsGirls Foundation, WeDay Speaker, One World Ambassador, an Emma Watson Gender Equality Scholar, and Champion for Change 2016-2017 Alumni with Empower Women/UN Women. She is an active member and panelist with Equal Voice, a national organization working to elect more women in Canadian politics and a facilitator with Girls Action Foundation.
Aminka is a passionate intersectional feminist and promotes independence and empowerment as strong pillars of feminism. She recently facilitated the Participation and Access to Media & ICT for women and girls in rural communities workshops at the Commission on the Status of Women 62 organized by UN Women in New York.
In 2015, she founded the ForUsGirls, community initiative in Montreal. ForUsGirls is a leadership and mentoring program for marginalized girls aged 10-17.
Now the For Us Girls Foundation is empowering girls across Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America. In February of 2017, Aminka toured primary schools in St. James & Trelawny Jamaica speaking to girls and boys about education, goals, gender equality and leadership.
She committed to supporting the 6 primary schools through the For Us Girls Foundation as the organization works to expand its efforts to develop feminist leaders throughout Canada and North America.
